Aston Villa v Arsenal Betting Preview: The Villains Are No Outsiders

Saturday’s evening game between Aston Villa and Arsenal looks to be the game of the weekend in the Premier League. This fixture rarely throws up a draw, with the last one between the teams coming in 2012, so expect either team to win.

Unai Underestimated

Last season Unai Emery was able to get his revenge on Arsenal as Aston Villa did the double over the Gunners, home and away, which ultimately cost them the North London side the Premier League title. Villa had their best season this millennium in the last campaign when they qualified for the Champions League, breaking into the top four. Many people think they will be up there challenging again after they made some good additions to their squad despite losing Douglas Luiz.

Back To Villa Park

The Villains were able to get off to a winning start last weekend after they beat West Ham 2-1 at the London Stadium, so they’ll be looking to back it up again as they return to Villa Park.

Gunners Aren’t So Solid

Arsenal also kicked off with a win at the Emirates as they beat Wolves 2-0. Though they won, Wolves did cause them problems, and I think against better opposition the Arsenal defence could be punished.

Selection: Aston Villa To Win (10/3)
