Thomas Paull: You can’t beat Alexander Volkanovski!

Rhino ambassador and MMA fighter Thomas Paull shares his thoughts on the big clashes at UFC 298 this weekend.

I’m back! This time it’s to talk about UFC 298, with the action taking place in California, USA. The top three fights on the card are set to be very exciting.

George Neal takes on Ian Garry and of course I’m going to be siding with Ian. His performances to date have been outstanding. He is set to be a future star and I think he will win by knockout based on the way he moves in the cage.

The second fight is between Robert Whittaker and Paulo Costa. Judging by what I’ve seen of them so far, it is going to be a tough one. I think that Robert Whittaker will get the win by decision. Paulo Costa is so full of juice that Robert just needs to prick him with a pin and he’ll deflate.

In the main event, the great Alexander Volkanovski from Australia is back and fighting in his usual featherweight division, in which he is the reigning champion. Alexander will be fighting Ilia Topuria, who is a tough opponent and is on the rise. He has previously put in some good performances, but there’s no way he will beat Alexander. You can’t beat him; he’s the most dangerous man in the cage, so my money is on him to win by knockout, which is just typical of him.

Good luck to you all!

Thomas’s Picks

Ian Garry To Beat George Neal – 4/9

Robert Whittaker To Beat Paulo Costa – 2/5

Alexander Volkanovski To Beat Ilia Topuria – 5/6
