Keep Calm And Carry On For The Seagulls
Brighton has dominated their recent meetings with Manchester United, winning four of the last five encounters. However, the dynamics have shifted slightly, as the Seagulls now have a new manager, Fabian Hurzeler, leading the team. At 31, he is the youngest manager in the Premier League, but his age shouldn’t be a concern.
Last weekend Brighton easily swept aside Eveton at Goodison Park, beating them 3-0.
Leaky Red Devils
Meanwhile, Manchester United overcame Fulham 1-0 at Old Trafford. It was a close game that could have gone either way, but a late goal for Josh Kirkzee sealed the win for the Red Devils. Erik ten Hag is under a lot of pressure to deliver a good campaign in the Premier League, after a disappointing season last year where they finished eighth, so they’ll need to be winning more games like this if they are to finish higher up the table.
Pile On The Pressure
I do think Brighton have a feel good factor at the moment, and I am still not convinced by Manchester United’s defence. Though they’ve signed the likes of De Ligt, I am still not a fan of their goalkeeper Onana, who looks like he’s got a mistake in him. I could see Brighton pressing them high up and forcing them into cheap errors and giving the ball away, which could lead to goals.
Therefore I am looking at Brighton to win by over 2.5 goals which is currently 23/10 with Rhino.
Selection: Brighton To Win And Over 2.5 goals (23/10)
