Who knows with Chelsea?
It should be an entertaining game for the neutral, as a lot of people will be wondering how Chelsea are going to play. The Blues have been the laughing stock of the football world over the past couple of seasons, signing players for ridiculous money and then not delivering on the football pitch.
Maresca The Messiah?
Towards the end of last season, Mauricio Pochettino was beginning to turn a corner, but then, for whatever reason, Chelsea parted company with the Argentinian. His replacement raised a few eyebrows as the club decided to bring in Enzo Maresca. Though he got Leicester City promoted to the Premier League, it seemed like a strange appointment as he has no experience at this level. Pre-season hasn’t gone well for Chelsea, and they were thumped 4-1 by Celtic. It’s hard to know what to expect from them this season.
Five In A Row?
Man City, on the other hand, come into this season looking for their fifth-league title in a row. However, the clouds loom large around the club with their potential points deductions regarding the multiple charges around FFP. Furthermore, they’ve lost Julian Alcaraz to Atletico Madrid, who I think are a big loss. It’s going to be a tough season for City, but I think they’ll be there or thereabouts.
Another 4-4 draw?
For this game, I am seeing goals. In this fixture last season we had a 4-4 draw, and I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw something similar again. I’m going to predict that there will be over 4.5 goals, which is currently 13/5 with Rhino.
I hope you all enjoy the game.
