Pep’s team find themselves with yet another opportunity to complete the league and FA Cup double with Chelsea standing in their way of reaching the final. Encounters between these two clubs have been close this season with an epic 4-4 draw at Stamford Bridge and City requiring a late goal to secure a point in a 1-1 draw at the Etihad.
Poch’s Chelsea played brilliantly in a 6-0 rout of Everton earlier this week. However just as the team’s football finally clicked on the pitch, it was clear to see this is far from a harmonious team with their ridiculous antics when they were awarded a penalty kick.
Nevertheless in Cole Palmer, Chelsea have arguably the most in-form player in the league, and Cole will no doubt be keen to show exactly what City are missing after Pep allowed his transfer to take place last summer. Can Cole be the man once again and propel Chelsea to the final?
