Hungary have flown somewhat under the radar but were impressive in qualification, where they were unbeaten, and come into this tournament full of confidence. They perhaps lack a proven goalscorer in their side, but in Liverpool’s Dominik Szoboszla they have a captain with Premier League experience who is capable of galvanizing his troops.
The Swiss are second favourites to win Group A and they are well organised and always carry a threat. The Swiss won just 4 of their 10 qualifying games and relied on draws and a strong defence to take their place in Germany. It feels like they are likely to take on a similarly pragmatic approach in the tournament, where goals will be in short supply.
