Arsenal will start the weekend top of the table on goal difference as the Premier League season reaches its concluding matches. In the league in recent times Arsenal have won at a canter and although Aston Villa should present a test, Arteta will be confident that they can take all 3 points and move a step closer to the title.
Villa will have watched the midweek clash between Arsenal and Bayern Munich with interest. The Germans highlighted several ways in which Arsenal’s defence can be got at and were unlucky to not take a lead back to Germany with them ahead of the second leg.
Emery had a somewhat torrid time when he was in charge of Arsenal and with Villa having a superb season, he will be keen to continue their push for a top 4 spot.
