Thursday – Musselburgh 13:00
This lad runs for Josh and Olly. He jumps really well but has been a little bit keen at home. He’s only ever run over a mile on the flat. He’ll have a good chance if I can get him to settle. I’m looking forward to this ride and see what he can do in this Juvenile race. Hopefully the Irish horse takes them along at a good gallop.
JACKHAMMER
Thursday – Musselburgh 13:35
My second ride is best over 2 miles and likes a strong pace. He has run ok over 2.5f but it does test his stamina to stay that far. He’s won over a mile on the flat last time out so stamina may be a worry for him.
HEART ABOVE
Thursday – Musselburgh 14:10
This horse has a very good chance in this as he’s carrying very little weight, and the track suits him to a tee. He’s been performing consistently well through the autumn, finishing in the places in his last four starts and there is no reason he can’t go close here. He’s still very well handicapped in my opinion.
CARDAMON HILL
Thursday – Musselburgh 14:25
My last ride is coming off a win in a four-horse race which I’m not sure was all that competitive. However, he did his job on the day. He’s a grand horse and jumps really well. Hopefully the ground isn’t too soft as he likes really good ground. I think he has a really strong chance to follow up here.
