It’s all systems go for Aintree on the weekend where we have a live chance in The Becher’s (more about that later in the week). Before that I’ve got some decent rides this week, starting on Wednesday when we’re off to Haydock with two very strong chances.

WHITE RHINO
My first ride needs little introduction after his exploits last season. He was very impressive on his debut over fences at Ayr, doing everything right. The ground was decent for that race. It will be a lot slower here at Haydock, which will probably suit him even more.

CARRIG KATE
This mare finished second in her last race. She probably would have won if she’d produced a good jump at the last. In hindsight we probably should have winged it. She has bags of ability, and I think she’ll stay three miles all day. You should see her run a big race.
