We finally got some nice weather last week and I really enjoyed keeping busy riding out for Phil McEntee, Stan Moore and Marco Botti on the Newmarket gallops. The weather isn’t so good this week, but I have some nice rides lined up at Leicester and Nottingham on Saturday and Chelmsford on Sunday.
Saturday
17:53 Leicester
Ian Williams sends Charency back to the track where he won in May after he ran well at Doncaster to finish third. There was heavy rain just before that Doncaster race which turned the going soft. I think he is a better horse on quicker ground. He also holds an entry up at Ayr on Monday.
19:10 Nottingham
Morning Suit has an entry at Kempton on Thursday, but if he doesn’t run there I’ll be riding him for Phil McEntee at Nottingham on Saturday. This is his first run for Phil after coming from Archie Watson. He has some good form and seems very consistent, getting in the frame on all five starts. Hopefully he can be a good addition to Phil’s team.
Sunday
14:45 Chelmsford
I ride Raintown again for Stan Mooreat Chelmsford on Sunday. He found the ground too quick at Newbury last time out. He’s now back on the All-Weather which I think suits him better. He’s a very straightforward ride and I’m hopeful he can back up his win at Lingfield.
17:35 Chelmsford
Law Supreme has been consistent this season for Ian Williams with form figures of 123. He didn’t run too well in his only other appearance at Chelmsford towards the end of last year. He also holds an entry at Pontefract on Tuesday.
Have a good weekend everyone!
