Lucky Loader’s Horse Racing Tips At Kempton And Yarmouth: Stacey Can Get Racey

My horse racing selections today focus on the evening meetings at Kempton and Yarmouth. All three picks are very well handicapped to go well, so hopefully we can get a couple of midweek winners.

8.10 Yarmouth – Foreseeable Future (9/2)

Foreseeable Future’s time to win must be near. The nine-year-old gelding has become very well handicapped and is now 9lb below his last winning mark. The last time we saw him, he ran a strange race at Bath, but flew home to finish second, and in another few strides he’d probably have won. There’s going to be quite a bit of pace in this race with the likes of Gatwick Kitten, Sir Rodney Redblood, and Wrath Of Hector, which should set it up for the selection. He’s won here before, and the ground should suit, so there is a lot in his favour to run a big race.

7.55 Kempton – Stacey Racey EW (8/1)

Stacey Racey ran a cracking race to finish second at Kempton last month, keeping on well in the closing stages. That race was run over 6f, and she is stepping up in distance to 7f, which looks to be a positive move. I think she is better than her current mark of 56, and Keiran Burke has done very well with his small string of horses this year, especially at Kempton. Though there are several big yards represented, this daughter of Bated Breath should not be underestimated.

8.55 Kempton – Cherry Cola EW (11/1)

Cherry Cola has been a great mare for Sheena West, and she has picked several races over this distance in recent years. This summer she has been holding her form well with several placed efforts and was last seen running on late to finish second at Salisbury. That was over 1m6f and this longer trip will help. The only question mark against her today is the return to the all-weather, but she’s lightly raced on it and was last seen on the polytrack as a three-year-old. The eight-year-old mare is also 1lb below her. If she can run her usual consistent race, then she could be good enough to pick up the pieces.
