6.40 Yarmouth – Miss Monte Carlo (Win)
Miss Monte Carlo arguably produced a career-best performance when she finished second on her handicap debut at Leicester last month. She did well that day as the track was definitely favouring front runners, and she made up a lot of late headway. The three-year-old filly seems to like quick ground, and the drop back in distance to 1m2f shouldn’t be a problem. Furthermore, her sire Study Of Man is doing very well with his crop of three-year-olds this season, who seem to be very effective over these trips. This doesn’t look like a strong race, and I think she’s the one they’ve all got to beat.

7.55 Windsor – Essme EW
I thought Essme had a good chance of being in the mix at Windsor tonight. She seems to be most effective on fast ground, and she usually likes to be ridden up on the front end of things. Her recent efforts have seen her place on several occasions, so she’s been maintaining her form well. With a good draw in Stall 3, I wouldn’t be surprised if she were to get her head in front with William Carson booked for the ride.
