7.40 Windsor – Bramble Jelly (7/2)
Though Bramble Jelly is a maiden, she went very close to ending her losing streak last time out when she finished third at Lingfield last month. The daughter of Soldiers Call is likely to make the running here, and she could get an easy time on the front end, as there’s not much pace on. Furthermore, she’s on a nice low weight of 8st 12lbs, with Gina Mangan claiming a handy 3lb of her back. I think the opposition will find it hard to peg her back in what looks like a weak race.

8.10 Windsor – Bonaventure (4/1)
Bonaventure ran a good race last time out over this course and distance to finish second earlier this month. That was his first time over 1m, and he seemed to improve for it. Though he hasn’t won, he’s come down to a good mark of 60, and this race doesn’t have much depth to it. With Sean Levey booked for the ride, I would be disappointed if he didn’t go close.

7.10 Windsor – Under The Twilight EW (16/1)
Under The Twilight was unlucky at this track last time out, when she was denied a clear run in one of these competitive sprint handicaps. The daughter Twilight Son has run well here on most of her visits to this track and won over this course and distance back in April. She’s a horse that looks like she could have more to offer in these kinds of races. Furthermore, there are a lot of pace angles, so it could set it up for a closer, and if it does, I can see her coming with a late run and picking up the pieces.
