City lacked their usual fluid approach against Nottingham Forest last time out, and but for some wayward finishing from Forest the outcome of the game could have been very different. Haaland came off the bench in the second half to make the game safe and Pep will be pleased to have his talismanic striker back at his disposal.
Wolves held on for a 2-1 win against Luton last time out at the Molineux. Gary O’Neill has guided Wolves to a mid-table finish which comfortably exceeded the expectations many had for his side at the start of the season. They travel to the Champions at probably the worst time of the season, with little to play for, whilst City know that there is no room for error in the title race.
