Paull, also known as “Juggernaut,” turned professional in 2015 and competes in the lightweight division. With a record currently standing at 11 wins and 5 losses, the Team Underground fighter is ranked 14th in the UK and Ireland.
All Paull’s wins have come via knockout or technical knockout, so while he’s known for his stand-up ability, he is also developing his ground game under Steve Cooke, who in June 2023 presented Paull with his purple belt.
The 29-year-old has been determined to reach new heights in the MMA world, and in 2022 he competed on Dana White’s Contender Series, a television show that aims to provide fighters with an opportunity to get a contract fighting in the UFC; MMA’s premier organisation. Paull has also fought and had success in Golden Ticket Fight Promotions, which organises matches and events between the UK’s leading MMA fighters.
Being born deaf hasn’t stopped Paull from following his career as an MMA fighter. He is keen to highlight that anyone with a disability can be successful, and he serves as a role model and ambassador for the deaf community.
“It’s an honour that Rhino and their team have shown an interest in my career and a privilege to be an ambassador for them” says Paull. He adds “I am really excited to work alongside them on this project. Watch this space! We’re charged up! Rhino style!!”
The fighter will be making his first appearance at Cage Warriors in March carrying the Rhino into battle.
Ceiron Jones Head of Retention for Rhino Bet commented: “We’re really excited about this partnership with Thomas as we have a few MMA fans on the team. Thomas appearing on Dana White’s Contender Series really caught people’s attention and garnered national press coverage. We ourselves were inspired, and supporting Thomas on his MMA journey seems like a good fit for both parties. We recognise MMA continues to grow in popularity as a spectator sport and in turn we predict this will translate into more people betting on it.”
Paull will be providing Rhino Bet with social media content around UFC and other MMA events as well as contributing to the firm’s news site, which is due to go live at the beginning of 2024. The fighter will also carry Rhino Bet’s branding on his training and fight wear with the aim of growing the awareness of the brand amongst his fans.
