Fifth Round
During the fifth round, Nate Landweh, a man from America, is fighting a man from South Korea called Choi Doo-ho. Nate Landwehr is a good fighter who loves to scramble, when he falls down, he is quick to get back up and continue fighting in all his rounds. Choi Doo-ho is also a good fighter with very good technique, he is known to have power with his one punch style. However, his stamina is not so good and that has been his issue so far. If he improves, he will be good, but he is older than Nate. Out of the two of them I would pick Natel to win.
Fourth round
The fourth round is very exciting! The round is a man called Bryce Mitchell fighting Kron Gracie. Kron Gracie’s father is Rickson Gracie, he and his brothers are well known all over the world for setting up BJA. Kron is a well-known grappler with high level skills. Bryce is also a very good wrestler who uses a different type of grappling. Both of them will definitely be focussing on floor fighting to gain their title as “King.” It is difficult to choose, but if I had to choose, I would pick Kron to win and become the champion. During the second round, they will have to finish early because if the time is extended and they have to stand up, Bryce will have a better chance to catch him, because Kron’s stand up game is ok. Kron needs to finish the fight early, going for a submission, meaning that Kron will win and become the King.
Third Round
The third fight is a heavyweight fight! A man called Ciryl Gane, from France who is a former champion, recently lost and tried to fight back to defeat the other man. During this round, Ciryl will be fighting a man called Alexander Volkov from Russia. Alexander is massive, he is over 6 foot and a particularly good boxer with great technical skills including jabbing and kick boxing. Alexander’s weakness is movement around the ring, he prefers to be slow and stay in one position, defending well. However, Ciryl uses a lot of movement when fighting. This will be a difficult fight, and they have competed before. During the last match Ciryl won based on decision, and now Ciryl has gained more experience. However, Alex is becoming older and slower in his movements. I will choose Ciryl to win in the second round based on his adaptability in previous fights.
Second Round
Shavkat Rakhmonov is undefeated in the UFC, he has 18 wins and no losses. He is well known for his dominant grappling techniques. He will never back down, if he falls down, he will get back up again, he will never give up.
Ian Garry is also an undefeated fighter. I think he has 15 wins. Shavkat has more wins, but Ian is still undefeated. Ian Gerry is a very technical fighter, whenever he attacks, he is very accurate, he rarely misses. Ian’s grappling is also very good, but I think Shavkat’s grappling is better. He will try to stay away from his grappling and stay away from his pressure. He will not want to give him space meaning that it will be difficult for him to attack. If I had to choose, honestly it is very difficult to choose….Shavat to win. He will win by decision because Ian will try to stay away from him, but you can’t stay away all the time in the ring. Maybe he will get caught or Ian will catch him. We will see what happens this weekend.
Final round and the main event
Alexandre Pantoja has been a champion previously fighting Kai Asakura. Kai is in his fight in the UFC and it is for the belt, I don’t think this ever happened previously for someone to be a Champion in their first fight with UFC. This will be very interesting to watch. Did you know that Alexandre actually fought and lost to a Deaf fighter named Ashkar Saypulayevich Askarov from Russia in the UFC?
Alexandre is a well-known fighter from Brazil using strong and skilled Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) techniques and has great strategies and will be using his best takedown techniques. Kai is from Japan and is hot with his kick boxing skills.
In the last fight that Alexandre was in, I chose the other guy. However, his last loss was in 2020 when he lost to the Deaf man Askar in 2020. I am choosing Kai to win as I admire and love his grappling skills, which is so much more fun and artistic. I chose Kai to win in the third round.
Good luck to everyone this weekend!
