Steelers Preview

The Steelers enter this game with significant momentum and as the surprise story of the season so far. They sit near the top of the AFC playoff picture thanks to a defence that has consistently delivered under pressure. The Steelers are on a five game winnings streak that included narrow wins over the Ravens and Commanders in their previous two fixtures. Their away form is impressive as well, they currently sit 4-1 on the road.

It was a surprise for some to see the Steelers bench Justin Fields for Russell Wilson, but he has surpassed expectations so far. Wilson has thrown for 6 TDs and just 2 interceptions, with an impressive 94.4 passer rating. The Steelers success this season though has been built on defence with key players like T.J Watt in form. Watt has made 7 sacks so far this season. The Steelers are one of the best coached teams in the league, and only the Chargers have conceded fewer points per game than the Steelers. The defence has nullified Jayden Daniels and Lamar Jackson in back to back weeks so will be full of confidence.

Browns Preview

Cleveland has endured a challenging season but remains dangerous at home despite a record of 1-4 this season. Their defence, although inconsistent, has shown flashes of strong pass-rushing ability. Offensively, the Browns have struggled, Deshaun Watson’s poor performances and injury has meant this is probably a lost season for Cleveland now. His replacement Jameis Winston took a combined total of eight sacks against the Ravens and Chargers, he did however throw for 334 yards and three touchdowns in his first start for the Browns.

The Browns offensive ranks last in offensive net yards and the offense has failed to score 20+ points in 9 of their 10 matches this season. They need big name players like Jerry Jeudy and David Njoku to step forward. An awful last quarter where they conceded 21 points and didn’t score when the game was tied against the New Orleans Saints last time out will have dented confidence further.

Predictions:

The Steelers are one of the form teams in the NFL coming into this match. They go into the game as 4.5-point favourites at Rhino.Bet and should be able to cover this handicap. The last time the Steelers were around this handicap mark was when they beat the Raiders 32-13 and they should be very confident of getting the win and moving to 9-2 for the season.

Pittsburgh Steelers -4.5 @6/5
