Thomas Paull: Bring On Bakkes!

It’s been a busy time for me since I got back from Thailand. I’ve been keeping myself in shape and dealing with the schedule of training camp as I am waiting for my next fight, so I’m ready to go when they find an opponent.

The Prep Is Underway

But guess what? They’ve found a wall for me to smash, as I’ll be fighting Jordy Bakkes from Holland. I am excited to fight him because he’s the same size and height as me. His fighting style is not so different from mine either, and it will be very interesting to fight someone similar. You can guarantee that it will be an explosive fight and will probably finish in the first round. My fight camp is now in motion. I have a task to complete to move on to the next phase of training.

Room For Improvement

To be honest, I am not entirely satisfied with my last fight. It’s because I didn’t finish the fight off, and I cannot let it go down to the judge’s decision again. However, if you get that position, then there’s nothing you can do about it. If it goes my way, then great; if it goes the other way, then I will feel I should have done more. I am just going to try to end the fight on my terms and come out injury-free.

The fight will take place at the O2 in London again on Saturday 20th July. If you want to get tickets click the link here: https://www.eventim.co.uk/

UFC Stars At My Gym!

Last week I was in my gym as usual for the sparring class that I do every Friday, and we only had two UFC star guests come in for rounds with us, Paddy Pimblett and Molly McCann.

We all had good rounds, and it was a great way to start my fight camp. I am not the only one who’s got an upcoming fight. Paddy will be going toe to toe against the ranked fighter, Bobby Green. It’s a big fight for him to stomp his name in against ranked fighters. Paddy will be on the main card of UFC 304 in Manchester at the end of July.

My training will be continuing over the coming weeks, so I’ll be checking in with you again nearer the fight.
