A New Stage
When I saw The Sphere, I was truly gobsmacked at the 3D screens that surround it. It’s going to be a very good weekend of UFC action.
Rodriguez Can Edge It
The first fight I want to talk about is Ronaldo Rodriguez vs. Ode Osbourne. Both fighters look good, and it’s going to be tough one to call. I know that Ode Osbourne has his own gym in Las Vegas, so he’ll have the support of the locals. I don’t know why, but my gut is telling me that Rodriguez will win by submission.
A Familiar Face
I was amazed to see this fight on the card between Daniel Zellhuber and Esteban Ribovics. That’s because I have fought Esteban before in Dana White’s contender series. He beat me at the time, but it’s good to see he’s doing well. I would bet on him to win by knockout. I hope he will do well so that I know that I lost to a better man. Hopefully I’ll get my chance again.
Ortega Can Make Experience Count
Next up is the legendary fighter Brian Ortega, who takes on new fighter Diego Lopes. He is a funny man. He’s got a mullet, and he’s a bit strange, but he’s a good fighter. As Diego is new, I feel that Ortega’s experience will count and he will win with his signature submission.
Shevchenko’s Time To Shine
In the women’s division, we’ve got two great fighters, Alexa Grasso and Valentina Shevchenko. Shevchenko is an excellent fighter, and I love her fighting style. This isn’t Alexa Grasso’s first or even her second time fighting Shevchenko. It is in fact their third fight against each other.
In their first fight, Alexa won by submission, and the second fight ended in a draw. I predict that their third fight will end with Shevchenko getting the win, as I think that after losing the first and drawing in the second fight, Shevchenko will have studied Alexa’s fighting style enough now to know how to beat her. I feel that Shevchenko will get the win by decision, as she’s a bit older now and might not have the power she once had to win by KO.
Merab’s Turn
In the final co-main event of the night, Sean O’Malley will go up against Merab Dvalishvili. Dvalishvili is a funny man. He was a bit quiet in the past, but now he’s loud and likes to talk a lot when he goes live on Instagram. He’s good; I like him.
Merab Dvalishvili trains in the same gym as Ode Osbourne. Merab is best friends with ‘The Funk Master,’ who was the champion in his division. He fought Sean but was beaten by him. Now it’s Merab’s turn, and I think Sean will win again because his fighting IQ and ability to read the fighter are really good. I don’t think he’ll be able to finish Merab, so I would bet that Sean will win by decision.
