Weekend Wagers: The Vikings Can Remain Victorious | Rhino Bet

In our latest weekend wagers edition, we preview some of the price boosts and offers Rhino Bet has available to customers over the next couple of days.

Crystal Palace v Liverpool

The early game in the Premier League on Saturday sees Liverpool take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. In this game we’re looking at the card markets and at Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate. The Frenchman has been a card magnet and has already attracted four bookings this season.

Two of those came in his last two games against Wolves last weekend and against Bologna in the Champions League on Wednesday night. The Frenchman was currently 9/4 to be booked against Crystal Palace, but he’s now been boosted to 11/4 with Rhino on Saturday. We wouldn’t be surprised if he racked up another card this weekend.

Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe

Europe’s feature Flat race of the year takes place on Sunday with the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe. One horse who appears to have been laid out for the race is Al Riffa for Joseph O’Brien. This season he’s been campaigned at a high level and was last seen winning a Group 1 in Germany.

Before that, he nearly gave City Of Troy a scare in the Eclipse Stakes at Sandown. If City Of Troy turned up here then he’d be a short-priced favourite. At the time of writing, Al Riffa is currently 11/1. With the extra place on offer with Rhino, we can see him finishing in the first four at Longchamp.

Extra Place: Al Riffa 11/1 EW (4 Places)

Minnesota Vikings v New York Jets

The NFL returns to London on Sunday as the Minnesota Vikings and New York Jets travel to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The Vikings currently sit 4-0 having picked up a thrilling win against the Packers last time out. Meanwhile the Jets go into the match 2-2 after a disappointing loss to the Denver Broncos.

Former Jets Quarterback Sam Darnold has been the standout performer for the Vikings so far this season. He failed to deliver in New York over two seasons, but he is now showing why he was a 2018 first round draft pick. He ranks second in yards per attempt this season. With him leading from the front, the Vikings have managed three notable wins against teams that were in the postseason last year.

The Jets travel to London with a strong defence. They’ve only conceded 13 points in their last two fixtures, but their issue lies with their offence. They averaged 19 points per game and didn’t score a touchdown against Denver, with Aaron Rodgers being sacked five times. Rodgers will be encouraged when facing the Vikings as they are the team he has the most yards against with 7,157 total yards.

It’s hard to look past the Vikings. Both Darnold and wide receiver Justin Jefferson are having dominant campaigns. They go into the match as rightful favourites. Throw in a defence that should pressure Rodgers with their Blitz style and a team looking to maintain a perfect start, backing the Vikings to win the match at 4/5 looks the play. The Vikings have started fast in their last two matches, so for added interest, backing Minnesota -3.5 at 9/4 in the 1st Quarter Handicap could be a shout.
