The Belgians can probably count themselves unlucky with the late VAR decision, which ruled out Lukaku’s equaliser. In truth, Belgium probably had enough chances to win the game without the late controversy, but their lack of cutting edge in the final third was surprising to see. Will Romania be on the backlash for that today?
Romania put in one of the performances of the first round with a 3-0 win over Ukraine. The quality of their goals was outstanding and defensively they looked commanding, with Dragusin being one of the standout performers in the tournament so far. Belgium will present a tougher test for Romania, and this should be a brilliant encounter to finish the second round of group games.
When: 22nd June | 8pm – Cologne
Tip: Lukaku to open the scoring [odds 12/5]
