Spain v Croatia Betting Tips: Expect Plenty of Goals

This is the first blockbuster encounter of the Euros, as two of the tournament’s fancied sieds clash in the second match of the day.

Spain came through qualifying with relative ease, bar a surprise loss to Scotland, and have rightly been installed as one of the favourites for the tournament. The three-time winners have a strong squad but, as has been the case for some time, lack a world class striker to lead the line.

Croatia performed brilliantly at the last World Cup, dispatching Brazil and reaching the semi-finals. They were far from at their best during qualifying, managing just over 1.5 goals per game, but with a defence conceding just 0.5 goals per game they ground out their passage to Germany. In Modric the Croatians have a true world talent, however with the games coming thick and fast will their 38-year-old talisman be able to drive them to glory.

When: 15th June | 5pm – Berlin

Pick: Tough to pick a winner but it feels like goals may be the order of the day here. Over 2.5 goals [odds 11/10]
