We finally got some nice weather last week and I really enjoyed keeping busy riding out for Phil McEntee, Stan Moore and Marco Botti on the Newmarket gallops. The weather isn’t so good this week, but I have some nice rides lined up at Kempton on Thursday evening.
19:00 Kempton
WHITCOMBE ROCKSTAR goes to Kempton again for Kieran Burke. It was disappointing to miss out on the hat-trick last week, but we didn’t have a good draw. I decided to drop the horse out the back and take our time to get into the race. However, the race wasn’t run to suit as they went too slow, which turned the finish into a sprint. Hopefully we get a better draw this week and a good run.
20:10 Kempton
I ride another for Kieran Burke at Kempton on Thursday. STACEY RACEY has not been seen since April where I don’t think she really enjoyed Chelmsford. She has shown some ability, winning well at Southwell earlier in the season and back at Kempton, I’m hopeful she’ll run a nice race.
