Scotland v Switzerland Betting Tips: Key Factors to Consider

The Scots have an opportunity to put the defeat to Germany behind them in this evening’s fixture in Cologne.

Everything went wrong for Steve Clarke’s team last time out. An early goal against them, a sending off, and a host nation with a point to prove, all conspired to see them well beat in their first game. However, having visited Cologne this week, I can see the Scots have travelled well and will have a strong fan base determined to support their boys as they look to get their tournament back on track.

Switzerland dispatched Hungary and, although many thought this Swiss side may be past their sell by date, they’ve shown that experience of tournament football is a key criterion in navigating the early stages of an event like this.

Scotland know that they simply cannot lose this game. With the goal deficit from the first game, it would be hard to see a scenario where they could advance if they lost tonight. Andy Robertson seemed slightly out of sorts last week, but can he get the Scottish bravehearts roaring tonight?

When: 19th June | 8pm. – Cologne

Tip: A well contested draw [odds 12/5]
